I saw these crinoline girl doilies in a blog and thought that my mother in law would enjoy something like this for her birthday so I found a pattern had Bobby pick out the yarn and got to work on her. Here she is after blocking and soon she will need to be glued together and have ribbon added. This was my first time using crochet thread and one of my first official times blocking something. My blocking boards I got from the $0.99 store these are just your typical foam puzzle pieces they were much cheaper than regular blocking boards but completely work for what I was using it for.
